Last night in advanced practice I referred to this olympic race when talking to the swimmers about not slowing down and finishing all the way to the wall. Watch as Bolt celebrates before he even finishes the race. Yes...he won a gold medal and set a new world record but one has to wonder how much faster he could have been if he finished all the way (you can hear the announcer wonder this same thing in the video). Even if your winning, it is always about the clock. We need to make sure when we swim we are always shooting for the best time and finishing all the way to the wall.
